When your child is telling you, through their communication or their behavior, that they can't do something...are you listening? This is especially difficult when it's something they are usually able to do!
Regression can happen for lots of reasons. Sometimes it's after an illness, sometimes it can be from a trauma/stressor, sometimes it's just part of the ups and downs of growing up.
The important part is...we need to be willing to acknowledge, validate and accommodate.
